Oak Fire Protection was formed in 2002 by founding Director Adrian Applegate, whose experience of the passive fire protection industry spans the past 26 years.

Oak’s philosophy is to offer a contracting service from inception of a project through to handover, with expertise in delivering specification and budgetary advice, and a high quality, safe and timely installation.

The Company plays a participative role in The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), through membership and a position on the council of The ASFP, assisting with the development and direction of the passive fire protection industry.

Oak has developed a first class client base, with repeat business providing the majority of the company’s revenue. In addition, Oak has a continuing programme of expansion, and is constantly targeting specific new markets and clients, and remains pro active.

The Company operates on a national basis from the head office in Ongar Essex. The business operates with over 40 directly employed management and installation engineers.

Oak puts the customer first, offering a complete professional passive fire protection service.
